Nationals Reinstate Mason Thompson From 60-Day IL
The Nationals announced this afternoon that they’ve activated right-hander Mason Thompson from the 60-day injured list. Right-hander Zach Brzykcy was optioned to Triple-A to make room for Thompson on the active roster, while right-hander Derek Law was transferred to the 60-day IL to create a 40-man roster spot for Thompson. The Nationals have taken high school shortstop Eli Willits as the first overall selection of the 2025 draft.
