Follow along as the Nats look to win their first series in a month
The Nats were 9 outs away from securing their first series victory since May before the bullpen did its thing, allowing 6 runs in the 7th inning and 1 in the 8th to lose 8-2. The bats which scored 15 runs the other night went rather cold again, scoring just 2 runs, 1 coming from a CJ Abrams solo shot in the 5th inning.
Mitchell Parker takes the mound looking to secure a win on the final game of the road trip. The lineup behind him remains largely unchained, with Riley Adams getting a day off and Drew Millas finally getting a start being the one change.

Jack Kochanowicz will get the ball for the Halos as they look to climb a game above .500 on the season. It’s been a struggle for him recently, posting a 6.68 ERA in his last 7 starts. The Angels lineup shuffles slightly versus the left handed Parker, with Mike Trout getting the day off and Travis d’Arnaud at DH for him.
