Two young people were injured in a shooting in Downtown Baltimore on Sunday evening, Baltimore Police say.
A patrolling police officer responded to the intersection of Light Street and Lombard Street on Sunday at about 6 p.m. after receiving a tip informing them of an armed person, according to a news release from the Baltimore Police Department.
The officer found two victims, a 17-year-old boy and 19-year-old man, with gunshot wounds that were not life-threatening, the release says.
The victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
