Parts of the Baltimore area are under a hazardous weather warning and a flood watch, as isolated instances of flash flooding, severe thunderstorms and damaging winds are possible Sunday evening, according to the National Weather Service.
The affected areas for the NWS hazardous weather warning are Anne Arundel, Cecil, Prince George’s, Charles, St. Mary’s and Calvert counties, along with southern Baltimore, central and southeastern Howard, southeastern Harford, and central and southeastern Montgomery counties.
The Maryland Department of Emergency Management issued the flood watch for Baltimore, Anne Arundel, Carroll, Washington, Frederick, Prince George’s, Charles and Allegany counties until 2 a.m. Monday.

Sunday’s storms are anticipated after 1 p.m., with mostly cloudy conditions occupying most of the day, according to the NWS. The high is expected to be around 88. The low is projected to be near 74.
Showers are forecast Monday with a thunderstorm possible after 2 p.m. The predicted high and low are 89 and 74, respectively.
Monday night, showers are expected until 5 a.m.
