Juneteenth will likely see intense thunderstorms in most of the Baltimore area as a cold front moves into the region, according to the National Weather Service.
There is an 80% chance for rain Thursday, according to the NWS, with the potential for stormy and severe weather forecast between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. In between, conditions should be sunny at times with a high of 93.

The weather is expected to worsen later in the day, with the threat of damaging wind, large hail and possibly tornadoes. It will eventually be mostly cloudy before gradually clearing during the evening. The low is predicted to be around 71.
Friday is likely to break the weeklong cloudy and rainy weather with sun and warmth predicted to peak at around 91 and lower humidity, according to the NWS. Headed into the evening, conditions are expected to become partly cloudy with a low of 74.
The sun is expected to shine throughout Saturday and Sunday, when AFRAM is set to take place at Baltimore’s Druid Hill Park, with highs in the 90s.
On Monday, temperatures could near 100, the NWS reported.
