It’s the start of a three-game series against the surprising Royals
The Orioles and Royals just faced off at the beginning of this month, so it’s super weird that they are playing each other again already. To wrap up a season series against another team by May is certainly unusual.
We learned last time the Orioles played the Royals that they are better than expected, and that has continued for them since they left Baltimore. If the Orioles can again get two out of three I will be a happy fan.
When last we saw Dean Kremer he was getting absolutely blitzed by the Milwaukee Brewers. He lasted just four innings and gave up eight runs (six earned). He has allowed four home runs in three starts this season. He was much better against Pittsburgh in his previous start with seven shutout innings. Which Dean will we get tonight?
Alec Marsh pitched well against the Orioles in his first start of the season, but struggled against both the White Sox and Mets offenses. So let’s hope we’ll see more of that trend this evening.
