The Orioles demolished the Rays. You know what must be done.
It is Friday night.
The Orioles scored 22 runs. That’s not a typo. Twenty-two runs! Despite falling behind 6-0 in the second inning, the Orioles rallied throughout the game, ultimately turning the game into so much of a laugher that the Rays used a position player to finish out things – and that position player gave up six runs.
The Orioles piled 21 hits on the Rays, they hit four home runs including Coby Mayo’s first big league homer, Gunnar Henderson and Gary Sánchez had four hits apiece, people were chanting Sánchez’s name throughout the game, and all in all it was a lot of fun. If this team didn’t stink so much sometimes, they might be pretty freaking good.
YOU KNOW WHAT MUST BE DONE.
