On Saturday, the nation’s capital will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Army with a festival and parade featuring hundreds of military vehicles and aircraft and thousands of soldiers.
There’s an all-day festival along the National Mall. Then, the parade runs from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., followed by a concert and fireworks show. The celebration is set for June 14, which is also Trump’s birthday.
The U.S. Army is now estimating the cost, start to finish, for its 250th birthday parade in Washington, D.C., on June 14 will be between $25 million and $40 million.
