What to watch for
Washington heads into their fifth Summer League game with a 1-3 record. Considering that the Wizards didn’t really play many of their top draft picks of the last two years like Alex Sarr, Bub Carrington, Kyshawn George, Tre Johnson and Will Riley among others … I guess it’s not THAT surprising that the Wizards gave the Jazz their first win of the Summer League season on July 16.
From the Wizards’ standpoint, they will likely stay the course when playing the Knicks. I don’t see them playing the draft picks extended minutes, and I doubt the Knicks, also 1-3, will either. So let’s just enjoy one more game of Summer League basketball until at least EuroBasket in late August.
