Gotta get that Fever money!
Monumental Sports & Entertainment is open to having more Washington Mystics games at Capital One Arena in the 2024 WNBA season, according to John Domen of WTOP-FM.
Given that the Entertainment and Sports Arena can only hold 4,200 people, this makes sense. Monumental Sports now has the ability to hold up to four regular season games at Capital One Arena, after an agreement last month with the D.C. government.
With former Iowa star Caitlin Clark now playing for the Indiana Fever, Washington’s home games on June 7 and Sept. 19 would be good candidates to have in Chinatown. In addition, there are no concerts scheduled at Capital One Arena those dates. Don’t be surprised to see a venue change then.
