Rutgers has secured a high-profile international recruit for the 2025-26 season.
Bosnian guard Harun Zrno will play for the Scarlet Knights next season, he announced on Tuesday.
He took visits to Miami and Villanova before deciding to play under head coach Steve Pikiell.
“I made this decision after the first call with coach Steve,” Zrno told ZAGSBLOG. “It was very easy to make this decision and this is the right place for me where I will have the opportunity to play and improve my game. I will bring a lot of work, energy and desire to win.”
He averaged 17.5 points and 3.6 assists and 3.7 rebounds while shooting 56% from the field and 44% from long distance.
Zrno had originally committed to Indiana but opted to decommit after Indiana’s coaching change once the season ended.
Rutgers is coming off a season where they had some of the highest-profile freshmen in the country with Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper, both of whom declared for the 2025 NBA Draft.
Zrno will join a recruiting class headlined by four-star prospects Lino Mark and Chris Nwuli as well as three-star prospects Gevonte Ware and Kayden Powers.
