The class of 2025 has been generating a lot of buzz as one of the best and deepest recruiting classes basketball has seen in a while and they showed what they are made of at the FIBAU19 World Cup.
Team USA took home the Gold in a dominant showcase against Germany, winning 109-76. BYU commit, AJ Dybantsa, was named the MVP of the World Cup with averages of 14.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
Louisville commit, Mikel Brown Jr, impressed arguably the most in this tournament for team USA despite not being named MVP. He scored averages of 15.3 points, 6.5 assists and 2.2 rebounds per game on a scorching 51% from long distance.
Both players are expected to be among the very top of the 2026 NBA Draft next year.
