Ohio State has secured a top-30 prospect in the Class of 2027.
Five-star prospect LJ Smith will join the Buckeyes as an early 2027 recruit, he announced on Thursday.
The 6-foot-4 guard had offers from Tennessee, Georgia, Georgetown, North Carolina and Indiana, among others but ultimately chose head coach Jake Diebler and the Buckeyes.
Smith played in the Nike EYBL Circuit for Team Thad this summer, where he averaged 14.1 points per game.
Smith is the No. 28 recruit in the Class of 2027, according to 247Sports.
