While fans of the Georgetown Hoyas may have noticed regression in social media and marketing by the official outlets, anyone on Twitter and Instagram surely has noticed an uptick in involvement by members of the Hoya Hoop Club. With some great retweets, and good flow of GU news, they deserve a follow—and support from the great readers and commenters of Casual Hoya.
Happy Birthday Mike Sweetney (2000-3). A Dominating Power Forward from Maryland, @mike_sweetney had a career average of 18.2 points and was the only player in the nation his Junior year to rank in the top 20 for both scoring and rebounding. He was drafted 9th by the Knicks. pic.twitter.com/vCi6vMkq4v

More specifically, there are a couple initiatives that Mark G. and the HHC board are pushing right now
For one, the HHC is soliciting (good) questions ahead of the Virtual Men’s Basketball Season Preview to be held next Thursday at 6:30pm.

The Hoya faithful should be registered for this event by now, but there’s still time to join the Men’s Basketball Season Preview featuring Patrick Ewing, Doc Walker, Rich Chvotkin, Pat Ewing Jr., Athletic Director Lee Reed, and Hoya Hoop Club President Mark Guerrera.
Secondly, now is the time to request your free tickets ahead of the Dartmouth game on Saturday November 13th. Of course, don’t abuse this opportunity, but if you can promise to fill in the seats with Blue & Gray, request all the tickets you can!
