Jasiah Jervis stars at Peach Jam as offers continue to pour in

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. – As one of the longest tenured and most weathered, proven players in a formidable 2026 class at Archbishop Stepinac HS, 6-foot-5 New York Rens guard Jasiah Jervis has a flair for big game exploits.

During a marquee Peach Jam matchup against AZ Unity, before a jam-packed crowd, Jervis splashed six 3-pointers. He turned in a game-best 28 points, propelling the Rens to the Quarterfinals with the victory.

Jervis showed both intergalactic range and a manipulative attacking arsenal, as he was able to elude defenders and knife to the rim gracefully.

Oregon is now the latest program to offer Jervis, who has picked up recent offers from Maryland, Tennessee, and Texas.

The well-built guard holds additional offers from the likes of Michigan State, Villanova, Georgia, Illinois, Virginia Tech, Stanford, Pittsburgh, Seton Hall, St. John’s, Northwestern, Saint Louis, St. Bonaventure, and others.

This insatiable hunger for ramped up competition and big game engine began during Jervis’ sophomore season at Stepinac.

Playing alongside then-senior and electrifying McDonald’s All American guard Boogie Fland (Florida), Jervis seized the hot hand during city championships at Fordham University.

Sparking runs and hitting consecutive 3-pointers, Jervis provided a massive spark en route to Stepinac’s second consecutive city title.

A New York City native, Jervis buried an immense straight-on 3-pointer with 58 seconds remaining in regulation, as Stepinac stormed back from a six-point deficit to force overtime, en route a pulsating 63-61 2025 CHSAA “AA” city tile victory over St. Raymond’s.

It was–surprise, surprise–Jervis who stuck the go-ahead 3-pointer in OT.

This season, flanked by an aforementioned senior class which includes highly recruited 6-foot-11 twins Adonis and Darius Ratliff, rugged 6-foot-5 guard/wing Hassan Koureissi, and bullish 6-foot-7 forward Dylan Perry, this Stepinac team will look to leave its own unique stamp on the history books with an unprecedented fourth straight city title. Jervis inherits some ownership of this Crusaders team.

“Jasiah has had a tremendous spring after winning his third title in three seasons with us,” said Stepinac head coach Pat Massaroni.

“We will rely on him and a heavy senior class to lead us through a challenging national schedule and CHSAA league play.”

Jervis is known for his shooting prowess, albeit his confrontational one on one defense has been noteworthy.

“One thing about me is I really take pride in my defense,” Jervis told ZAGSBLOG following a lockdown defensive performance in a victory over Ohio power Richmond Heights at the Springfield Hoophall Classic this past winter.

“I always want to neutralize the opponent’s top scorer “ Massaroni’s program has enjoyed action-packed back to back weeks.

At Peach Jam this week, several Stepinac prospects are playing throughout the packed to the gills Riverview Park Activities Center.

On Thursday, Class of 2027 guard/wing Josh Rivera was able to register his offensive uniqueness. The New York Rens sharpshooter bucketed three 3-pointers during the first nine minutes of a matchup against Atlanta-based Jet Academy.

Rivera displayed an adeptness for creating airspace, getting to his mid range game off the dribble, and scoring it at all three levels. Rivera was recently offered by Mississippi State.
