Louisville will retain its big man for another season.
Louisville big man Aly Khalifa will return to the Cardinals after being granted eligibility for the 2025-26 season, the team announced on Friday.
“The University is grateful for the thoughtful consideration given to Aly’s circumstances through the NCAA process, and we look forward to his return,” the University said in a statement on Friday.
The 6-foot-11 big man averaged 5.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game in the 2023-24 season for BYU before transferring to Louisville, where he rehabbed from a knee injury during the 2024-25 season.
Now, the big man will return looking to play his first healthy season with the Cardinals.
