LSU secured a commitment from class of 2026 four-star forward Kevin Thomas, he announced on Friday. Thomas is a 6-foot-6 senior at Montverde Academy (FL) and chose the Tigers over Florida State, Auburn and Miami.
He is one of the most athletic and explosive prospects in his class and is a big-time lob threat in the open floor.
“I like to play make a lot, give my teammates the right plays, give them the right shots,” Thomas told ZAGSBLOG this summer. “I’m trying to get to that two-way level, be a defender also.”
He is Matt McMahon and LSU’s third commit in the class of 2026, joining Herly Brutus and Marcus Vaughns thus far.
Thomas is a four-star recruit and ranked as the No. 72 overall recruit in the class of 2026, according to 247Sports.
