Memphis has continued to make moves to strengthen next season’s roster.
Temple transfer Quante Berry will play for the Tigers next season, head coach Penny Hardaway announced Friday.
The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 10.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game in his sophomore season for the Owls. Berry spent his first two seasons on the court at Temple after redshirting his freshman season at Providence.
The Tennessee native will now join a large transfer portal class for Memphis including Ohio State transfer and former five-star prospect Aaron Bradshaw, Saint Mary’s transfer Ashton Hardaway, Western Kentucky transfer Julius Thedford, McNeese State transfer Sincere Parker and South Carolina transfer Zachary Davis.
