More than 60 NBA scouts are credentialed for AJ Dybantsa’s college debut Monday night on TNT, a source with direct knowledge told ZAGSBLOG.com.
Some 63 scouts from 26 NBA teams are credentialed for the blockbuster Hall of Fame Series Las Vegas doubleheader on opening night featuring defending NCAA champion and No.3. Florida vs. No. 13 Arizona (7 p.m. ET) followed by Dybantsa and No. 8 BYU meeting Villanova (9:30).
Florida features transfers Boogie Fland and Xaivian Lee joining returning stars in Alex Condon and Thomas Haugh, while Arizona’s second-ranked recruiting class features five-star recruits Koa Peat and Brayden Burries along with guard Bryce James.
Dybantsa, who was also named to the Associated Press preseason All-America team, will make his collegiate debut against a new-look Villanova Wildcats team featuring top 50 recruit Acaden Lewis and new head coach Kevin Willard.
Dybantsa is a projected Top-3 NBA Draft pick next summer along with fellow freshmen stars Darryn Peterson (Kansas) and Cam Boozer (Duke).
