Ole Miss head coach Chris Beard was visibly frustrated following the Rebels’ Tuesday night defeat against Miami.
Sitting next to Beard, Ole Miss guard AJ Storr was asked about the team’s effort on Tuesday and how they could develop a better sense of urgency. While Storr began to answer the question, Beard interjected by saying Ole Miss could play different players instead.
“We can play different players,” Beard said postgame. “We can play different players, that’s what we did in the second half, where we won the second have by seven points. We can fix effort and it will be fixed.”
With Tuesday’s loss, Ole Miss fell to 5-3 this season, after beginning the season 5-0. The Rebels will take on another formidable opponent on Saturday when they travel to Madison Square Garden and face No. 23 St. John’s.
