It’s August and high-profile college basketball commitments are coming fast and furious.
On Thursday, Tarris Reed pledged to Michigan.
One day later, Jalen Duren announced he would reclassify and take his talents to Memphis.
On Sunday, Keyonte George is set to make his announcement between Baylor, Kansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma State and Texas. This has been a battle between Baylor and Texas and one of them will land the No. 1 shooting guard in the Class of 2022.
Here’s the skinny on several other upcoming high-profile commitment dates:
***Ke’Lel Ware, Monday***
The 7-foot 5-star forward/center from North Little Rock (AR) has been courted by Arkansas, Ole Miss, Oregon and Texas, among others.
***M.J. Rice, Tuesday***
The 6-foot-5 small forward from Prolific Prep (CA) holds offers from Kansas, N.C. State, Providence, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, North Carolina Central and Boston College, among others.
***Zion Cruz, Aug. 19***
The 6-5 5-star shooting guard from The Patrick School (N.J.) has been tracked this summer by Auburn, Arizona State and North Carolina, among others.
