Class of 2027 three-star forward Ferlandes Wright committed to Louisville on Thursday, he announced on X. The 6-foot-7 forward from Kentucky is a junior at La Lumiere (IN) and chose the Cardinals over Western Kentucky, Jacksonville, Toledo and more.
During his sophomore season at Fairdale (KY), he averaged 18.0 points and 12.6 rebounds per game, recording 27 double-doubles for his hometown, according to MaxPreps.
On the Nike EYBL circuit with the Indy Heat, he averaged 8.2 points and 7.8 rebounds per game for the E16 squad.
Ferlandes is Pat Kelsey and Louisville’s first commit in the class of 2027.
He is ranked as a three-star recruit and is the No. 149 overall recruit in the class of 2026, according to 247Sports.
