KANSAS CITY, KS-– Like most players at the Nike EYBL ciruit, three-star prospect Desmond Bellot Jr.‘s eyes are all on winning Peach Jam.
“That’s really the main goal,” Bellot told ZAGSBLOG. “If we win, it’s gonna take care of itself for offers and things like that. So if you just win, then it’s gonna take care of itself.”
So far, the 6-foot-3 guard has averaged 12.4 points, 1.6 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game for team Expressions at the EYBL Circuit.
“I can do everything,” Bellot said. “Whatever my team needs me to do, I can do it: drive, pull up threes, defense. Just whatever my team needs me to do.”
Bellot played high school ball at CATS Academy in Boston, which he plans on returning to next season.
During the high school season and at Nike EYBL, Bellot has earned the interest of a multitude of programs at the college level. His offers include George Mason, Quinnipiac, Rhode Island, Richmond, San Diego, Siena, St. Louis and UMass.
Bellot hasn’t been on any visits and has yet to plan any. He expects to have a list of programs he is considering by the middle of his high school season.
Bellot Jr. is the No. 39-ranked shooting guard in the 2026 class, according to 247Sports. His favorite player is Kyrie Irving and his favorite basketball memory is receiving his first offer in the ninth grade.
