Four games on Peacock but no 9PM tips for the Hoyas this year

The BIG EAST and your Georgetown Hoyas have released the networks and tip-off times for the 2024-25 season. Much like the actual schedule release, there are not too many surprises. Throughout the season, the Hoyas will be on four different platforms including Fox Sports (FOX, FS1, and FS2) , CBS SportsNetwork, NBC/Peacock, and … the ACC Network!

Looking at the Georgetown schedule, there are 6 games scheduled for 8 PM or later. There are four midweek home games starting at 6:30 PM, as well as one away game on Wednesday at UConn with an early start.

There are three Friday-night BIG EAST games, as well as the game against Marquette on a Saturday night.

Looking at the television schedules, the bulk of the games will still be on FS1 or FS2; however four games will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network, four others on Peacock (including 3 of the last 5 games).

One game will be on the ACC Network—Syracuse. The Notre Dame game will be the only Hoyas game featured on NBC, but it will also be simulcast on Peacock.

One game is scheduled to be on FOX, which is the Providence away game, and two others that will have the opportunity be flexed from FS1 or FOX—the UConn home game and the final game at DePaul.

18 Big East Games will be exclusively aired on Peacock this upcoming season

Here’s the breakdown by team:

DePaul- 5
Seton Hall- 5
Georgetown- 4
St John’s- 3
Xavier- 3
Providence- 3
Creighton- 3
Butler- 3
Marquette- 3
UConn- 2
Villanova- 2

With four Georgetown games on Peacock in January and beyond (as well as “25 regular season games and five early round and quarterfinal conference tournament games”), it might be time to look at subscription deals for the streaming platform (or maybe wait until Black Friday offers, depending on other sports/entertainment you might like).

A new era of Big East basketball begins this fall on NBC & Peacock!
