One of the top wings the recruiting class of 2026 has to offer is closing in on a decision for his new home.
Top-30 class of 2026 prospect Abdou Toure has cut his recruitment to a list of seven schools, he announced on Wednesday. These schools include Providence, Maryland, UConn, Arkansas, Florida State, Oregon and Louisville.
Toure spoke with ZAGSBLOG earlier in the summer on some of the schools that made his top seven.
Here is what he had to say on these programs thus far:
UConn: “It’s a good winning program. They have a winning history
Louisville: “It’s a new staff. They’re building a new program. Just everything about them is nice.”
Arkansas: “Arkansas is a good school. I like them. Coach [John Calipari] brought a lot of players to the NBA. He’s a good coach.” Arkansas had assistants Kenny Payne, Chin Coleman and Chuck Martin in Iowa.
Toure is the No. 24 overall prospect in the 2026 class by 247Sports.
