The Terps are coming out of the bye week with a 4-2 record.
Maryland football is fresh of the bye week with a 4-2 record and will face the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The Terps will be traveling to Minneapolis for their third road game of the season.
Head coach Michael Locksley’s program is coming off two straight losses, which came against then-No. 5 Iowa in College Park and then-No. 7 Ohio State on the road. However, Maryland is currently only ahead of Rutgers and Indiana in the Big Ten East standings, and it will need a major bounce-back effort against the Golden Gophers this weekend.
Maryland has been riddled with injuries over its past few games and the bye week gave the Terps a chance to heal with six games remaining on the 2021 schedule. After facing 4-2 Minnesota, Maryland will head back to College Park for two straight home games coming against Indiana and Penn State.
Here are the details for this upcoming matchup.
