For the second straight year, the Maryland women’s golf team earned an NCAA regionals bid. The Terps earned the No. 7 seed in the Bryan Regional, which is set for May 6-8 at the Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas.
Led by senior Patricie Mackova and sophomore Nicha Kanpai, both of whom won individual titles at tournaments this season, the Terps secured a top-five finish in five of their 11 events.
Maryland will be one of 12 teams competing in the regional, with the five lowest-scoring squads advancing to the regional final.
