MM 5.13: Maryland men’s golf’s Emil Riegger competes in NCAA Regionals

Maryland men’s golfer Emil Riegger scored even in his first two rounds at the NCAA Regionals Monday.

Riegger is currently tied for 12th in the Amherst Regional at even, having scored 74 at +4 in his first round and 66 at -4 in his second. As the sole Terps’ golfer in the NCAA regionals, he must score in the top five individuals across all six regionals to advance to the finals in Carlsbad, California.

Riegger is the first Terp to compete in the NCAA regionals since 2018, when Peter Knade and David Kocher both earned bids.
