Catcher Alex Calarco was named to All-Big Ten first team in his first season as a Terp after posting 19 home runs and 61 RBIs with a .287 batting average. Chris Hacopian’s .375 batting average, .502 on-base percentage, 14 home runs and 61 RBIs earned him his second-straight All-Big Ten second team nod. Kyle McCoy bounced back from missing all of 2024 to post a 3.32 ERA and 71 strikeouts in 84 innings, and was named to the All-Big Ten third team — his first all-conference award.
Jacob Orr was not named to an all-conference team, but won the team’s Big Ten sportsmanship award for the second-straight year.
The Terps took a step back in head coach Matt Swope’s second season at the helm, finishing the season with a 27-29 record — good for their worst winning percentage (.482) since 2018.
