This is a Maryland Minute, a short story followed by a roundup of Terps-related news.

Class of 2025 forward Jaziah Harper has committed to Maryland men’s basketball, he announced Sunday on Instagram.

Another commitment for Maryland men’s basketball:

6-foot-7 Jaziah Harper, an unranked player who projects as either a guard or forward, chose Maryland over Indiana. Clemson, Baylor and Michigan were all also reportedly interested.

Harper is 6-foot-7, 205 pounds and attends Don Bosco Prep in Crown Point, Indiana. He is unranked in 247Sports’ database but received offers from Indiana — according to 247Sports — as well as Baylor, Clemson and Michigan according to Inside Maryland Sports.

The commitment gives the Terps their third addition to the 2025 class, as Harper joins four-star combo guard Darius Adams and Spanish guard Guillermo Del Pino. Harper’s commitment comes just days after Maryland lost out on four-star 2025 forward Sebastian Wilkins to Duke.

Maryland’s 2025-26 roster is now up to 13 members; three freshmen and 10 transfer portal additions.
