The Baltimore Ravens have some notable injury issues heading into Week 2’s marquee matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
After notching DNP designations for practice on Wednesday, wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, left tackle Ronnie Stanley and cornerback Chris Westry were all absent from Thursday’s practice.

Brown, who dealt with a hamstring injury throughout the preseason, was a full participant in the Ravens’ grueling Week 1 overtime loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. After notching a solid performance on Monday (six receptions, 69 yards, one touchdown), the third-year wideout appeared on the injury report with an ankle issue. His status for this week is still up in the air.
Stanley struggled through his first game back after a season-ending ankle injury in 2020. Seemingly still dealing with this issue, the former All-Pro LT will likely miss time as he continues to have his ankle evaluated. Alejandro Villanueva will slide back into his natural left tackle position and Patrick Makari will take over on the right side, per NFL insider Jason La Canfora.
According to reports from ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, Westry has suffered a torn lateral meniscus and will be out indefinitely.
The crushing injury news just continues to roll in for the Ravens organization.
Without some key players, Baltimore will kickoff against Kansas City on Sunday night.
