Baltimore Ravens fans are bracing for the worst after seeing star running back J.K. Dobbins go down with a nasty-looking knee injury yesterday. But if Dobbins is expected to miss as much time as people believe, the team might have a Pro Bowl replacement for him.
According to ProFootballTalk, three-time Pro Bowl running Todd Gurley is considered “the first name to watch”. Gurley has yet to sign a contract for the 2021 NFL season, but he did visit Baltimore earlier this summer.
In 2020, Gurley played for the Atlanta Falcons on a one-year deal. He finished the season with over 800 yards from scrimmage and nine touchdowns.
Prior to his one year with the Falcons, Gurley was one of the NFL’s elite running backs with the Los Angeles Rams. Between 2015 and 2019, he totaled 5,404 rushing yards and 58 rushing touchdowns. He led the NFL in rushing touchdowns and total touchdowns twice.
Wait What Nah Not Dobbins SMH Praying Everything Is Ok and A Speedy Recovery🙏🏾

But Todd Gurley would probably be a controversial signing for the Baltimore Ravens if they brought him in. The drop-off from star running back to perennial free agent was swift.
He’s averaged under 4.0 yards per carry over the past two years, and many believe his best days are behind him.
That said, Baltimore might have a place for him in their run-heavy offense. If the Ravens can’t find a use for him, you have to wonder if any team can.
Would Todd Gurley be a good fit for the Ravens to replace J.K. Dobbins?
