Hall of Famer Charles Woodson doesn’t think all is lost if the Ravens have to turn to Tyler Huntley at quarterback. On Sunday, Woodson told NFL on FOX that Huntley is similar to Jackson. If not, better in a few areas.
Per NFL reporter Dov Kleiman, “[Charles Woodson] says that Tyler Huntley can do exactly what Lamar Jackson can do as a runner.” Adding, “[Huntley] passes a little bit better, and [Woodson] believes the [Ravens] can win with him.”

Tyler Huntley has been one of the surprising storylines of the 2021 NFL season. After an All-Conference career at the University of Utah, Huntley found himself in the lineup after former MVP Lamar Jackson’s injuries and COVID bouts.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh has done a tremendous job coaching this season. And he still has team in position to win with all the adversity Baltimore’s faced. Coming out of college, Huntley was viewed as a potential late-round fit in the right NFL offensive scheme.

And the Ravens are just that. Huntley can certainly make NFL throws and has some solid anticipation when in rhythm. Whether that means he’s better than a two-time Pro Bowler and 2019 MVP is another question.
While Huntley has done a nice job of keeping Baltimore afloat. It can’t be forgotten how many times Lamar Jackson put his superman cape on and saved the Ravens this year.
Lamar is still one of the most dynamic players in the sport. And the entire NFL world is looking forward to seeing him back on the field soon.
