“He could have a MONSTER season”
With the 2021 season only a few weeks away, anticipation is high surrounding many of the Ravens’ young players. One of those players is second-year running back J.K. Dobbins.
NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah, who was a scout for the Ravens in 2005-06, expressed high expectations for Dobbins while in attendance at Ravens’ training camp earlier this week.

In an interview with Good Morning Football, Jeremiah mentioned that he “loved [Dobbins] coming out of the draft process,” again citing the running back’s “balance and instincts” — just as he did before last year’s draft.
Dobbins’s potential is undeniable, especially given how much he did in limited opportunities last season. Dobbins finished the 2020 season 18th in rushing yards on only 134 attempts, which ranked only 35th in the league.
Jeremiah’s 2020 Draft Big Board had Dobbins as the fourth-ranked running back in the class, behind only D’Andre Swift, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and Jonathan Taylor.
Out of those four, only Taylor finished with more yards last season. Dobbins, though, led all running backs listed above in yards per attempt at 6.0. Dobbins finished with 805 rushing yards in 2020 — almost half of what Jeremiah predicts for him this upcoming season.
