It seems like it’s finally about the happen: the Baltimore Ravens and Lamar Jackson are nearing a new deal.
After months of speculation about his future, a new deal is expected to be done “very soon.” Ravens reporters hinted at the news before NFL insider Jay Glazer confirmed the speculation.
“In non-draft scoopage, hearing there’s been major progress between Lamar Jackson and #Ravens. Source close to Jackson told me if no hiccups could be done VERY soon, any day now,” NFL insider Jay Glazer said.
Naturally, the football world had a few things to say.

“This was always the most logical outcome in the end,” said a third.
Jackson is one of the winningest quarterbacks since he entered the league as a late first-round pick. After allegedly turning down several offers from the Ravens, he appears to be close to signing a deal that will likely keep him with the team for the foreseeable future.
