Baltimore Police arrested a man Monday in connection with Saturday‘s fatal stabbing in Washington Hill.
The 51-year-old man faces first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment charges after an altercation led to the stabbing of 39-year-old Tyrell John Curtis, police said Tuesday.
Police responded to reports of “serious cutting” at 2:09 a.m. Saturday at the 100 block of South Broadway, where they found Curtis with a stab wound to the body. Medics transported him to the hospital, where he died.
Investigators later determined an altercation between the suspect and Curtis led to the stabbing. Police arrested the suspect and transported him to Central Booking Intake Facility.
