Lamar Jackson is back. The Baltimore Ravens activated the superstar dual-threat quarterback from the COVID-19 list on Friday.
The Ravens have been without their franchise quarterback for over a week now. Jackson tested positive for COVID-19 in late July and has missed each one of Baltimore’s practices ever since. It’s been a significant loss for the Ravens who were hoping to hit the ground running at the start of training camp.
It’s the second time Jackson has tested positive in less than a year. The Ravens quarterback also tested positive last November and missed one game as a result. Fortunately, it looks like Jackson will soon be back at practice.

Lamar Jackson has made several headlines because of his experiences with COVID-19. He even received a message from Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan.
“Lamar’s gotta get (vaccinated),” Hogan said, via Phil Yacuboski of WBAL News Radio. “With the rules the NFL put down, I can’t imagine a team wanting to forfeit a game or lose a chance at the playoffs and none of the players getting paid because someone won’t get a vaccine.”
