The Baltimore Ravens have been worked out a plethora of players over the past few days as they try to round out their roster and practice squad. After injuries to a few of their key players, Baltimore is looking around and seeing if there are any options out there that can help them both in the short and long term.
The Ravens brought in five players (including a trio of running backs) for tryouts on Monday, and had four others in for workouts on Tuesday, including running back Trenton Cannon, who is regarded by many as a special teams ace.
Ravens had 4 tryouts guys in today: RB Trenton Cannon, TE Nate Becker, LB Shaq Smith and DB Stephen Denmark.

Even after signing running back Le’Veon Bell to their practice squad, Baltimore isn’t done looking at running backs, and it wouldn’t be shocking if Cannon was added to their roster in the coming days. The fourth-year running back has struggled to run the football over the course of his career (3.0 yards per carry average), but he has worked as a gunner before, something that the Ravens will sorely miss with Justice Hill out for the season.
Smith is a former University of Maryland linebacker and a Baltimore native. Becker has played in one NFL game, while Denmark has played in zero.
