The Baltimore Ravens signed star tight end Mark Andrews to a four-year, $56 millon extension on Monday night. It was a move that benefited both sides, and should pay off for both the team and the tight end for years to come.
The agreement between Baltimore and Andrews seemed like it was always going to happen at some point or another. While the tight end is undoubtedly excited about his new contract, he isn’t the only one. Plenty of Ravens players took to Twitter to congratulate their teammate, crack some jokes, and make sure he knew that he had earned his giant payday.

Andrews will work to live up to his big extension, but he’s already well on his way to doing so. He’s now the third-highest paid tight end in the league based off of average annual value, and his production certainly explains why Baltimore gave him the kind of money that they did.
