With mandatory minicamp across the league around the corner, the trade market for Dallas Cowboys Micah Parsons could heat up. According to a report, the timing is difficult for the Cowboys as the more time passes, the more rumors will start to spiral. Parsons is clearly the team’s keystone athlete and one that they can’t afford to lose, but the waiting game is becoming hard as the Cowboys are figuring out how to compensate his next deal. Other pass rushers like T.J. Watt and Trey Hendrickson are in negotiation talks as well, and Dallas needs to act quickly before those deals are finalized if they want to strike a contract agreement on a fair price.
Earlier this offseason, Parsons did mention he’s willing to take a fair offer, but the Cowboys are prone to probably offer a bargain in their first contract. Last offseason, they saw star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb miss some time during camp, which ignited trade rumors. It motivated the Cowboys to get a deal before the 2024 campaign and avoid any distractions in the locker room. For the sake of this article, this is nothing new for Dallas as they’re taking their time to come up with a new contract, but the bigger question is, how much time do they really need?
After extending Lamb and giving Dak Prescott a massive deal, it will be difficult no matter what, and if Parsons decides that time is up, these four teams could take advantage and trade for him.

Possible Destinations
Los Angeles Chargers
After losing Poona Ford and Morgan Fox this offseason, the Chargers will look dramatically different in their defensive unit. The team signed Da’Shawn Hand, but he won’t save this defense alongside Teair Tart, who is returning for another year at least. Khalil Mack still has one more year left in the tank, but it’s hard to imagine he’ll be the same if he’s the only explosive defender. Micah Parsons could easily change this defense if Dallas can’t come to an agreement on a deal and the Chargers have the cap space to compensate his new contract.
Baltimore Ravens
Meanwhile, the Ravens don’t have the financial resources to target Parsons, but the need is there. Last year, Trenton Simpson wasn’t playing at his peak, and since Malik Harrison is gone, they need someone to fill the hole. While they could bring back Jadeveon Clowney, it’s clear that Micah Parsons is the better fit to put the Ravens back in the Super Bowl, and that’s where defense wins championships.
Chicago Bears
The Bears have been linked to Micah Parsons in a possible trade since the start of the offseason. It’s hard to ignore the fit both have, as Chicago could have an “out of nowhere” season similar to what the Commanders had last year. After repairing their offensive line for quarterback Caleb Williams, the defense could use one more firepower to help Montez Sweat and free agent signee Dayo Odeyingbo in the pass rush.
Carolina Panthers
However, even though the Panthers aren’t contenders this upcoming season, they’re heading in the right direction. After signing Tershawn Wharton, they could use some edge help since they lost Clowney. Parsons would be the perfect fit for Carolina as they have a great defense that looks like it’s coming together, especially with Derrick Brown’s return.
