Lemon just completed his sophomore season as the No. 3 ranked player in California at Los Alamitos High School. According to 247Sports recruiting analyst Greg Biggins, the 6-foot, 180 lbs athlete has shown promise at both the wide receiver and cornerback positions.
With an already talented 2023 class, Lemon will join a Sooners group including five-star quarterback Malachi Nelson, four-star running back Treyaun Webb and four-star tight end Luke Hasz. Nelson, the No. 2 ranked QB and No. 3 overall player in the nation, is Lemon’s teammate at Los Alamitos High School.
Set to join Lincoln Riley’s Oklahoma squad in 2023, Lemon will play two seasons in the Big 12 before the program transfers over to the SEC before the 2025 season. This recruiting announcement could be the first of many big-name recruits to commit with the knowledge of Oklahoma’s plan to join the conference.
Lemon had offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Penn State, USC, Texas and other top programs across the country. The highly-touted recruit appeared to give the “Horns Down” sign after he announced his decision this afternoon.
Oklahoma is the No. 2 team in the nation heading into the 2021 season, per ESPN preseason power rankings.
