The Washington Football Team snapped a four-game losing streak Sunday by defeating the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 29-19.
Washington didn’t only win this game; it controlled the game from the start. The WFT never trailed in this game, and each time it appeared Tom Brady and the Bucs were about to take over, Washington’s offense answered with an impressive drive.
After the win, Washington improves to 3-6 on the season. Unfortunately, the team faces more substantial injuries after defensive end Chase Young went down with a knee injury. The initial diagnosis appears to be a torn ACL, and Washington will know for sure on Monday.
