Over the past eight years Aaron Rodgers has had several celebrity relationships and seemed close to tying the knot with actress Shailene Woodley. But it appears that Rodgers will be a solo act moving forward.
TMZ reported on Wednesday that Rodgers and Woodley are breaking up. The two have been in a relationship since at least 2020 and got engaged early in 2021.
But this breakup has apparently been getting closer and closer for a while now. Rumors began to circulate all the way back in December that the relationship was on the rocks. Rodgers is believed to be more focused on his football career right now and was apparently getting cold feet.
Given how controversial Rodgers has become in recent months, he’s not getting any sympathy from fans on social media. Quite the opposite.
Just about everyone is joking on Twitter that Rodgers still can’t seem to get that long-awaited “second ring”:

One Twitter user had a pretty bad burn, suggesting that Rodgers would have to join the Fast & Furious franchise if he wants to “have a family:”

This isn’t the first long-term relationship Aaron Rodgers has fallen out of with a celebrity. He dated actress Olivia Munn from 2014 to 2017 and NASCAR driver Danica Patrick from 2018 to 2020.
Rodgers and Woodley appeared inseparable, sharing countless photos of each other spending time together.
