Adam Peters talks to the media after Day 1 of the 2024 NFL draft
Adam Peters just made his first pick as an NFL GM. He was hired by the Washington Commanders, and he has started that off by selecting LSU QB Jayden Daniels with the #2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. He has been working to completely turn over the Commanders roster, signing 22 free agents and letting a lot of Ron Rivera’s FAs hit the streets. Peters was excited to get Jayden Daniels, and start building the team around him. There were reports that Washington was looking to trade back into the 1st round to get an offensive tackle, but that deal never happened.
