Washington Football Team WR Cam Sims, already ruled out for Sunday’s game against NO, is expected to miss an additional 1-2 weeks, per source. Sims suffered a hamstring injury in WFT’s win at Atlanta.
WR Dyami Brown (knee) also out Sunday. Curtis Samuel (groin) is questionable.
— Ben Standig (@BenStandig) October 10, 2021
Basically Cam Sims is week to week following Sunday’s game. We still don’t have any real timeline for Dyami Brown nor has the team provided one for Brandon Scherff. Ron Rivera eaelier this week suggested a reported 2-3 week absence for the All-Pro guard seemed plausible.

LEADERSHIP
Often mentioned, rarely explained. @WashingtonNFL WR @TheTerry_25 just gets it. A 2-time captain in his 3rd season, McLaurin explains how he tries to guide his team & why it shows up in tense situations.

When you look at the numbers and realize Taylor Heinicke had better numbers through 4 games then any QB in 3 decades including Rookie RG3 and 2015 Kirk Cousins….#WashingtonFootball pic.twitter.com/hDS8REG6Qx

Scott Tuner on QB Taylor Heinicke extending plays:
“That’s how it always is. When you got a guy like Taylor, you can call the game a little bit more free, I guess you would say. And if they cover it and it’s not just because he can run it’s because he makes good decisions.” pic.twitter.com/xiCKhqc9Zk

That plot makes the correlation look weak because both axes have the same range. But the actual results from four weeks of play are, naturally, going to be more extreme than the predictions.
