It appears Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields is winning his teammates over with each and every practice session.
On Saturday, Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson shared his thoughts on Fields’ performance thus far in training camp. The Ohio State product seems to be improving on a daily basis.
“He’s able to make every throw on the field,” Robinson told reporters. “… That’s something we see each and every day. It’s fun seeing him learning and getting better each and every day.”
This is a really encouraging sign for the Bears, as Fields is expected to eventually become the team’s starting quarterback. That’s why general manager Ryan Pace made a huge move up the draft board to select Fields in the first place.
Allen Robinson said of Justin Fields: “He’s able to make every throw on the field. … That’s something we see each and every day. It’s fun seeing him learning and getting better each and every day.”

It’s worth noting this is the second time this week that a veteran player on Chicago’s roster raved about Fields. A few days ago, Bears tight end Jimmy Graham compared Fields to Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.
“He wants to be great. He puts in the work,” Graham said. “It’s been impressive to see him so young and so focused. It definitely reminds me of Russell Wilson.”
Before fans in Chicago crown Fields as the next coming of Russell Wilson, they might want to wait until they see him get through his rookie season.
At the moment, Fields isn’t the projected starter for the Bears. That could change if he outperforms Andy Dalton during training camp and the preseason.
