A brutal afternoon for the Cleveland Browns got even worse after quarterback Baker Mayfield left the game in the third quarter following a hard hit from Patriots pass rusher Matt Judon.
Mayfield has been dealing with a tuberosity fracture in his left shoulder in addition to a torn labrum, and he also was said to have a sore foot last week. Now, he’s questionable to return with a knee issue.
Here’s the play where Baker went down. It occurred with the Patriots leading 31-7.

Mayfield was replaced by Case Keenum after the hit from Judon. He left the game after completing just 11-of-21 passes for 73 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
Mayfield’s touchdown pass came on Cleveland’s first possession of the game. The Browns took the opening kickoff and then marched downfield to grab a 7-0 lead.
Since then, everything has gone downhill. New England has scored 38 unanswered points, in addition to Mayfield getting hurt again.
A loss today would drop the Browns to 5-5 on the season and equal the five regular season losses they suffered all of last year.
