Duke head basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski will lead his program into the Barclay’s Center for the ACC Tournament next month.
Ironically, in the same building that won’t allow former Blue Devil Kyrie Irving to enter due to his vaccination status.

When asked about his thoughts on the Irving situation Monday, Coach K had this to say:
“I love Kyrie,” Krzyzewski explained. “And he should follow his heart in what he’s doing and figure out how that impacts the group that he’s with and then you make decisions on what you feel is right, what you feel the group needs and so I hope that that’s what takes place. But I’ll be behind him all the way.”
Adding (jokingly), “I’m 75 now, so I’m just glad I have thoughts and can express them to people so I really try not to have thoughts on too many people.”

Sidestepped the heck out of it 😅

Kyrie played just one season at Duke before making the jump to the NBA, where he was selected No. 1 overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Due to Irving’s unwillingness to get vaccinated, and protocols put in place by the city of New York, Uncle Drew is currently considered a “part-time” player. Kyrie can only participate in eight of the Nets’ next 26 games (all on the road).
When Kyrie Irving’s been out there, he’s been terrific. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been as often as Brooklyn or the NBA itself would like.
