One of the biggest mysteries surrounding the Cowboys this upcoming season involves Dak Prescott.
The star quarterback made a full recovery from a season-ending injury he suffered a year ago. Then during training camp Prescott dealt with a shoulder strain. Some have speculated the strain could give him problems during the upcoming season.
While there is cause for concern, Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup isn’t worried. In fact, he told reporters on Tuesday that Prescott “looks like he never left.” In other words, Prescott isn’t dealing with any significant setbacks at the moment.
“Dak looks like he never left,” Gallup said on Tuesday, via ESPN’s Todd Archer. “… We’re doing everything we can to make him look good.”

This sounds promising, but we’ll have to wait until Thursday night to see if it proves true or not.
Dak Prescott is more than capable of leading the Dallas Cowboys to an NFC East title and on a deep playoff run. His health will play a pivotal role in such a quest. Luckily, Prescott’s arsenal on offense is the best it’s been in years.
One of the biggest questions surrounding the Cowboys falls on the defensive side of the football. There are legitimate concerns at the interior of Dallas’ defensive line. The Cowboys need to find answers there if they’d like to have success in pass rush and stopping the run.
Prescott and the Cowboys clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Thursday at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.
