“We’re being cautious,” Prescott said during the game. “We’re taking it day-by-day. Obviously it’s five weeks before the season opener, so I’ve got a lot of time. I’m going to use that time to get myself ready for that game.”

Earlier Thursday night, NFL insider Jay Glazer reported Prescott is dealing with an issue that occurs commonly in baseball. According to him, the injury is in the armpit region.
While the injury is concerning, Glazer said he thinks Prescott should have plenty of time to get healthy for Week 1.
The Cowboys desperately need Prescott on the field if they want to compete for a division title and a playoff spot.
